Floods SUCK
I wish I could say I'm sorry for saying the S-word. But quite frankly this dumb toilet flooding all night in the girls bathroom has ruined much more then my Saturday. Carpet oh man it is GROSS, and let's not even talk about the water that traveled 3 floors down and warped a door in the basement. I'm currently thinking about renting... ya I think the short term solution is renting that would solve all this!

I feel your pain. This happened to us last year. (The toilet too!) Thanks gravity for multi floor damage.
ReplyDeleteDays of loud industrial fans blowing on the walls and carpet. "Biopsies" of sheet-rock tested for mold. We still have not replaced/repaired the damaged floor boards.
Oh Summer, I am so so sorry. Some friends here had a similar problem recently. They were gone for the week and didn't catch it. The neighbors noticed when the floor caved it. Horrible. I'm hoping you have a good insurance policy . . . :(
