Finally! Surgery is done!  So this is pretty cool.  Summer was the first person at Huntsman to have a removal of a brain tumor while awake with use of the new portable MRI unit.   Because of the groundbreaking operation, it took a while to get it all set up (2 hrs).  That said, everything went very well during surgery.  The night before the surgery, we gave Summer a blessing at the house.  I

I just barely got home from my Functional MRI. It was up at the University Research Park. I have a funny feeling I am going to get real used to that place. Basically a functional MRI is when they ask you to do or think specific things so they can more clearly understand exactly where the tumor is located. And by exactly I mean exactly. Myles is now the official rider of a two wheel bike! Bryson walked in the door and said "Myles is going to learn to ride his bike!" Sweet Taylor noticed some of the girls her age did not have hair while she was at Primary Children's Hospital this summer. Here is the quick version of what happened to Bryson Perry. Tuesday night he raced in a local crit in Draper. He was racing great and in the lead group when he attacked on the final lap. He had done about 10 sprinting powerful pedal strokes when he started to crash. We had a great time at the first MTB race of the year, unfortunately lady luck was not on bryson's side. A broken chain, a teenagers bike, a flat tire, and lots of running kinda sucked. So today started out like any other domestic diva day. I did 2 loads of laundry, put em away. Did the dishes, put em away. Then ventured down to put away the 100+ boxes of Quaker products (that I basically stole, you'll see how this fits in in a second.), dated and organized them into food storage aka put em away. Then decided I would take the kids to the Zoo. Even brought a friend.  Pretty good

Skyler received her Conquering cub award!We are so proud of her. She has worked so hard this year and become very responsible with her school work. Bryson and I have been doing the biggest looser at his work. Yesterday was the official end. Happy to report...
